Mother's Day & Random Happenings

Mother's Day gets better and better with the boys. This year they finally "get it" :) John was the only one that "got it" for the last 8 years.

We started off with donuts and fruit at school that Friday morning. It was so sweet to see all the women and even some dads that were there celebrating the morning. There were so many grandma's, aunts and relatives that were making the morning brighter for all the kids.

Adrian's teacher is SO thoughtful! She gave her students a healthy oatmeal pancake recipe for the kids to make on Sunday morning.

The kids helped John make chocolate covered strawberries. It was all delish!! Mason couldn't keep his little fingers out of the chocolate. Surprise, surprise :)

It snowed Mother's Day weekend. Our LAST of the year! It was just wet enough to make some awesome snowmen. The kids named them grandma honey, papa vinegar and "wee wee the baby" they were waiting to get a new cousin from their aunt Val and uncle Seth very soon.

Adrian was on a Destination Imagination team this year. I was an assistant to our awesome coach. It was such a great experience and Adrian really loved it. They performed at competition and did fantastic!

The palm tree he constructed. Adults weren't aloud to help the kids do or make anything at all. Their props and costumes had to be done ALL by them.

Favorite book character day. The Magical Tree House, Pirates Past Noon. Arrrrr Matey!

Of course he would find the only puddle on our street.

Hitting up the park on a Saturday when it was nice out. It hasn't been that nice since :( for many weeks.

My lil chef.

Crazy hats.

Mason's big into opposite puzzles, 3 letter words puzzles, and all learning activities. He's a sponge!

I need to work on getting him off of the kids desk though, I know... I know, he's way too close.

1 of the 22 shirts I tie dyed for Adrian's class. Fun stuff! We're going to go tie dye crazy this summer and experiment lots with it.

Dad teaching them how to play Uno.

Biking and scootering around some nature trails.

Kellen made himself a bed and slept in this box for two weeks. They have a very nice bunkbed bedroom set. I'm not sure why a box is better??! Maybe he missed his baby crib?

S'mores!

Adrian has the most patient friend ever. He was teaching the boys how to play LIFE. So, so patient!!

Chores. Easier while sitting down.

Chillin.
Watching some Cars and his older bros in swim class. He hates shoes and takes them off every opportunity he gets.

A night out for an Expensebot team building dinner. It had been way too long for some good muscles.

He's down to maybe, one nap a week. And it's random.

School line pick up. The most relaxing 15 minutes of our day!! :)
