Ohio or Bust II - The first leg

Finally... we made it to John's parents. After 3 full days of travel we were quite happy to roll out of what seemed to be a shrinking mini van...  unload, unwind and unpack. We settled in and got comfy for a weeks stay.

The leg room I was working with on day 3 of the drive.
Thank goodness I'm a small person with short legs. Lesson learned for our next travel experience... DO NOT pack so much!!

The S Family Portrait
taken by the amazing tripod.

probably going to be trying out for Cirque du Soleil with that tricky move.

Mason meeting his Papa for the first time.

John's parents broke out his old bicycle from 1986ish.

The kids were making games from random garage stuff.

John went out one night for a mini reunion with some old college roomies.

A-K-rowdy. The blue house on Brown street looks like it's about to fall apart!

We entertained the kids with a trip to see Chucky.

The kids were obsessed with Papa's tractor!

All Mason wanted to do was spinjitzu with his lego ninjago moves.

We "tried" to feed the ducks in the green pond but they wanted nothing to do with the popcorn.

Kellen's not sure what the heck Adrian was doing... :)

These duck parents had about 21 babies. Really. Wow.

The popular and very photogenic bench swing at the park :)

Prison bars for the shorties.

The neighbors broke out their water toys and all the kids joined in.

Mason was playing hard to get with his cousin.

Poor Adrian takes after his mama and got a couple bites from a mosquito. His poor little ankle swollen for days. But at least it wasn't fire ants!

First time playing putt putt.

Grandma Honey was showing them how it's done on the putt putt course.

Then it turned into a free-for-all and they started playing hockey and baseball.

We had a fun night with John's childhood neighbor and lifelong friend Nick and his family.
We cooked out and burned a bed :)

Adrian and Nick's daughter Olivia looking super cute together. Adrian accidentally put on the wrong shoes.

John's grandma Madeline meeting her fourth great grandson from us. Back when it was just 3. And then back when it was just 2 (only because we left one behind).

We also just got back from a two week vacation. Two days traveling to our destination and it took us three days back to WA. I can relate on the leg room dilemma. Same thing here! Oh, and I also definitely over packed too. But it was all worth it. Love the ducklings. Too cute! And you're all so photogenic.
