I Loath Potty Training!

Sending out an SOS!

Anyone who knows me knows how much I loath potty training!! I make NO secret of it!

I absolutely hate it, it hates me, I'm not good at it, as a matter a fact I think I suck at it... this is being brutally honest here. For the most part our first child was easy, Adrian wanted to be like his dad, but now I'm working on P and K and I am suffering. This week is attempt #6 I believe, not really sure I've lost track. To top it off, it makes it more difficult when the active participants show "0" interest. Actually maybe a 2 on a scale from 1-10.

I'd almost rather pay someone big money to come into my home and do it for me. But since that's not realistic for us, I will grin (slightly) and bare it and keep trying. I have a personal time crunch here... and that's before the baby arrives. That time is dwindling down VERY fast. Here's to my very own potty pitty party this week... it's going to be a long, busy and frustrating one. I'm sure.

(our "station")
1 inspirational poster, 1 homemade potty book, 1 store bought book... let's do this!

If anyone has any pointers... suggestions, input they'd like to share, my ears and blog are open :)
Mucho appreciation!

Thanks & much love,
Christa

I feel your pain. I had Hazel almost completely trained over the summer and then one day she decided she didn't want to be potty trained and stopped using the potty all together. Now I'm just waiting for her to decide to do it, since trying to force it was only getting me upset and my house messy.

I have trained many, not only 11 of my own, but when I only had 2 and 3 children, I use to have a home daycare business and trained several others also. There are so many things I could suggest, but I would have to have some information first. If you email me I could give you some ideas I tried through the years that worked for me. I should do a post on this.
