Shwimming

Adrian just love, LOVES his cousin Kaleb... these 2 were very entertaining. We are so glad we get to see more of K this summer!

great shot of "grandma honey" and Kellen
I just can't get over that fact that he will be ONE in a week!!

Trying to get a nice picture with "Pa"

This pic is hilarious - little blurred tho. It's a great pic showing off the kids personalities at times.. goofy, cranky, silly... comical! The reality of it all, and it works for us ;)

ER Trip #2 this week

Not for the kids tho.. for poor John instead. It was all my fault! I wasn't thinking the other day and threw a piece of glass in the trash & without wrapping in something else, so when John took the trash out this morning the bag rubbed his leg and sliced right through ;( sooo we rounded up the kids and headed to the ER for breakfast.
I will never put glass in the trash again, I promise!!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the dads, uncles, grandpas, & brothers. Dad's (in my book) are anyone who can be looked up to, a male influence that sets a good example for us all.

HaPpy FaThEr'S daY John!
Your the
best and we're the luckiest!

We love you thiiiiiiiiiiiiis much!

I'm actually not a big fan of the Hallmark holidays, I kinda feel like celebrating an awesome birthday once a year and a great Christmas should be the main focus. It's probably just because our lives have become uber busy and 2 celebrations per person, 2 gifts a year is all I think I can handle, gets a little overwhelming sometimes, but regardless we still try to keep up with it all and remember it all ;) for now.

Love,
your Monkeys!

OXOXOXO

Another Trip to the ER

And many more to come I'm sure... especially with having 3 boys! I remember Preston's nurse telling me she had 3 boys and was in and out of the hospital for broken bones and and stitches all the time. Fantastic! Our last ER Visit: http://thesiladies.blogspot.com/2010/01/visiting-er.html
So Adrian is super allergic to bug bites (get's it from his mama) and got attacked by some nats or small insect last night while playing in the yard. Benadryl just didn't cut it, so after his nap today his eyes looked like he went a couple rounds with Tyson so we headed to the ER for some steroids. We're hoping he grows out of this, I can't imagine every time he gets bitten by something that we have this terrible outcome. His meds keep him awake, but it's nice having some one on one time after the other 2 little people headed to bed. So we thought we'd blog together ;) he thinks it's so cool looking at his own pictures.
Love this lil man to pieces!

Just Awful.. I know!! John had a hard time looking at him because he doesn't look like himself, not even close. Poor baby!

A before pic - B4 the big fight with the flying insects

and an after pic ;( I'd say the bugs won

Doing a "Little" Something...

Thanks to our friend Anna, we are trying to do a "little" somethin, somethin for a very BIG problem. Although the kids may not totally get it yet, they helped me fold and pack up a box of cut up blankets and towels and some Dawn dish soap to send to the FL Panhandle. Hoping our tiny contribution will be used to help clean up some innocent, oil covered animals. It's simply.. a very sad thing! John told me he read that this all could have been prevented had BP not been so tight & money hungry with their finances! It can be a world of greed sometimes ;(

If you use dawn dish soap, you can go to this website and enter in the code on your bottle and they will donate $1 to the cause. The link is at the top of the webpage.

Here's the contact through the "Craft for Hope" http://crafthope.com/ organization. In case anyone feels like sending some old towels or cut up blankets or Dawn. They need to be hand towel size or washcloth size.

Dinner at the Cafe'

Just hangin out at the Cafe' - munchin on some fake food ;) YUM!

The boys have been using this a ton lately. Makes me happy that they are entertained and I can get some things done around the house.. yeah! But no matter how much I get done, laundry, cleaning, playing with the kids, I feel like I will never.. ever be caught up. Is it mean that I am so excited to hand out some chores to these boys when they're a little older?!?! ;)
